Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Redwood Developer to join our Enterprise Applications team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and extending Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM applications using Oracle’s Redwood UX framework and Visual Builder Studio (VBS).

You will lead the modernization of our user interfaces, building responsive, scalable, and intuitive extensions that align with Oracle Redwood design standards while seamlessly integrating with underlying Fusion SaaS modules and backend services., Redwood Development & Customization

• Design, build, and extend Oracle Fusion SaaS UI pages using Visual Builder Studio (VBS) and Oracle Redwood Application Components.
• Develop extensions for Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, and SCM using Redwood page templates, dynamic forms, and expressive layout rules.
• Customize standard Fusion screens while maintaining upgrade compatibility and adherence to Oracle best practices.

Technical Architecture & Integrations

• Integrate Redwood UI extensions with Oracle Fusion Cloud via REST APIs, SOAP web services, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Develop complex business logic using Javascript, JSON, CSS, and Oracle JET components.
• Build custom data models and REST endpoints using Oracle Autonomous Database or ORDS where custom data structures are required.
• Collaborate with functional leads and database teams to ensure optimal API design and data flow.

Optimization & Support

• Conduct performance tuning, debugging, and code reviews for Redwood extensions and OIC integrations.
• Manage quarterly Oracle Cloud update cycles, validating visual extensions for compatibility and resolving technical regressions.
• Establish development standards, technical design documentation, and release management protocols for VBS projects.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, or SCM).
• Redwood Expertise: 2+ years of direct experience developing with Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS) and the Redwood Design System.
• Frontend Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, and JSON.
• Integration Experience: Proven experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), API integrations, and web services.
• Oracle JET & Business Objects: Working knowledge of Oracle JET (JavaScript Extension Toolkit) framework and Business Objects in VBS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Official Oracle Cloud Platform Application Development or Visual Builder Certification.
• Experience migrating legacy Oracle Application Express (APEX), ADF, or traditional SaaS custom fields/layouts to the Redwood UI framework.
• Familiarity with Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycles in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex functional requirements into modern, user-friendly Redwood interfaces., * Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, or SCM): 5 years (Required)
