Love working independently outdoors and taking pride in hands-on work? We are hiring a Pool Field Maintenance Technician to manage residential service routes and keep backyard pools sparkling clean, balanced, and safe across our local community.
You will drive a dedicated company vehicle, conduct weekly routine cleanings, test and adjust water chemistry using digital tools, inspect filtration equipment, and ensure top-tier customer satisfaction.
We train for aptitude! While preference will be given to candidates with prior pool cleaning, route driving, or maintenance experience, we are fully prepared to train the right individual who demonstrates reliability, strong mechanical aptitude, and a solid work ethic., * Weekly Route Maintenance: Vacuum, skim, brush pool walls, empty skimmer/pump baskets, and backwash filters according to daily route schedules.
- Water Chemistry Management: Test pool water parameters using digital testing equipment, precisely add chemicals, and log clear records via our mobile route app.
- Equipment Inspection & Reporting: Inspect pumps, motors, heaters, filters, and salt systems for proper operation. Report diagnostic or repair needs to management.
- Customer Interaction & Technology: Maintain clear digital communication with homeowners using smartphone route software (logging timestamped photos and chemistry data at every stop).
Requirements
- Driver Requirements: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (must be insurable).
- Work Ethic & Independence: Self-motivated, punctual, and capable of working outdoors in warm Texas weather conditions.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50—75 lbs repeatedly, handle manual tools, and safely transport water treatment chemicals.
- Preferred Experience: Background in pool maintenance, lawn care, route driving, plumbing, or mechanical trades is a major plus!, * Pool maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Texas Residential Appliance Installation License (Preferred)
