Job description

A global industrial technology leader is seeking a Principal IT Finance Analyst to join its corporate headquarters in Northeast Ohio. This is a newly created position driven by company growth and expanding enterprise IT initiatives.

This is an Information Technology role-not an Accounting or Finance position. The successful candidate will serve as the technical liaison between Finance and IT, leading enterprise application projects, system integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives that support critical financial business systems.

This is a highly visible opportunity to work alongside Finance leadership, Enterprise Architecture, and business stakeholders while helping modernize enterprise technology supporting a global manufacturing organization.

  • Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote), * Serve as the primary IT liaison supporting enterprise Finance systems.
  • Lead end-to-end technology projects including planning, requirements gathering, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Manage enterprise application enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with Finance leadership, Business Process Owners, Enterprise Architecture, and external vendors.
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements.
  • Support SaaS platforms, cloud applications, APIs, web services, and enterprise integrations.
  • Coordinate software releases, system maintenance, and change management activities.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and enterprise system integrations.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and operational efficiencies across enterprise financial applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 6+ years supporting enterprise business applications, ERP systems, or Finance technology platforms.
  • Proven experience leading multiple IT projects from planning through implementation.
  • Experience with enterprise system integrations, APIs, and web services.
  • Experience supporting SaaS and cloud-based enterprise applications.
  • Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management abilities., * SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Candidates with extensive ERP implementation or support experience (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, JD Edwards, Workday Financials, PeopleSoft, or similar enterprise platforms) will also be considered.
  • Experience within manufacturing or industrial organizations is a plus.

Important Requirements

  • This is an IT business systems role-not a Finance, Accounting, or Software Development position.
  • Must have experience supporting enterprise Finance systems from an IT perspective.
  • Must have experience managing end-to-end technology projects.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
  • Current or future visa sponsorship is not available.
