Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Specialist

• Involved in the architecture, configuration, and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices in solution architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and custom connectors.
• Manage system administration tasks including user management via Active Directory, security configurations, and system tuning for optimal performance.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell, JavaScript, or other scripting languages to streamline operations and improve system efficiency.
• Oversee database management activities involving Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL to support data integrity, backup/recovery processes, and performance tuning.
• Implement and maintain IT infrastructure components such as virtualization (VMware/ESXi), load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, DNS/DHCP services to ensure secure and reliable system operations.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support for complex issues related to software implementation, system troubleshooting, storage management, and network connectivity.
• Conduct regular system health checks, performance tuning sessions, and capacity planning to sustain high availability and responsiveness of Dynamics 365 environments.
• Support systems & applications support initiatives by managing configuration management processes and documenting system design changes.

• Strong background in IT infrastructure including Windows Server administration (Active Directory management), virtualization (VMware/ESXi), Linux systems, and network security protocols such as VPNs and firewalls.
• Extensive knowledge of database systems like Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL along with experience in database backup/recovery strategies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting for automation tasks; familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins or Git is a plus.
• Expertise in system design for cloud-based solutions using REST APIs, microservices architecture, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and RESTful API development.
• Strong understanding of operating systems including Windows Server environments and Linux distributions; experience with VMware ESXi or similar virtualization platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices including information security measures for enterprise applications; experience managing firewalls, DNS/DHCP services is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues quickly; experience supporting enterprise applications such as Pegasystems or similar platforms is desirable.
