Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Hardware Engineer with a Secret Security Clearance to join our cutting-edge engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting complex electronic hardware systems. Your expertise will drive the creation of reliable, efficient, and scalable hardware solutions that meet industry standards and project requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects involving PCB design, FPGA development, system integration, and automation, contributing to the advancement of technology in a fast-paced environment., * Enterprise Hardware Deployment: Oversee the physical installation, configuration, rack-and-stack, and cabling of servers, network switches, routers, and secure communication hardware across multiple dispersed sites.

  • Systems Maintenance & Diagnostics: Perform advanced diagnostics, component-level troubleshooting, hardware repair, and scheduled lifecycle replacements to ensure maximum system uptime.
  • Network Integration & Hardening: Collaborate with software and systems engineering teams to integrate hardware into existing C4IM architectures while maintaining strict zero-trust and security compliance standards.
  • Field Support & Travel Coordination: Provide localized and remote technical support, coordinating deployment schedules and logistics across regional hubs including Hawaii, Alaska, Japan, South Korea, and Guam.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate asset tracking, configuration baselines, deployment checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all hardware installations.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline-or equivalent hands-on military/commercial experience. Minimum 3-5 years of enterprise hardware engineering or network infrastructure deployment experience. Sec+ Comptia 8570 required.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware, Cisco/Juniper networking gear, power distribution units (PDUs), structured cabling, and rack architecture.
  • Federal / DoD Familiarity: Prior experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Army Command, or C4IM operational environments is strongly preferred.
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability and willingness to travel internationally and domestically to support multi-site installation and maintenance milestones.
