Job description

Market-leading travel agency (part of an international holding) working with numerous tour operator partners is looking for a Golang Developers to join our core backend engineering team. Our developers focus heavily on building robust API integrations between our internal platform and external travel suppliers/aggregators to process and manage holiday offers., Create, implement, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and microservices using Go. API Integrations: Seamlessly integrate internal platforms with external systems via REST APIs and gRPC. Optimization: Process large volumes of data, optimize system performance, and ensure reliability for high-traffic operations. Collaborate with development and product teams to align technical solutions with business requirements. Code review - conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and consistency. Problem solving - troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and performance. Innovation - drive the adoption of best practices and new technologies to continuously improve our development process and products.

Requirements

Stack: Go, gRPC, REST, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis You: 3+ years commercial Go, distributed systems, English B2+ Employment (Poland) or B2B - your choice. Comp.: 6.200 EUR.

YOU MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK OR INVOICE IN POLAND!, Min. 7 years professional experience as a software developer, including min. 5 years of commercial experience programming in Go. Proven experience in designing and building distributed systems and microservices. Strong hands-on knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Elasticsearch, Redis). Practical experience with REST APIs and gRPC. Strong understanding of various architectural patterns (e.g., Hexagonal, Clean Architecture). Communicative English (min. B2 level). Nice to have: DevOps skills (CI/CD, Kubernetes) and experience with message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
