Job description

Wisteria is seeking a part-time IT Operations & Web Administrator to manage our core technology systems and support a growing, community-focused organization. This role combines employee technology support, Microsoft 365 administration, device management, AWS hosting, and routine website development.

As Wisteria continues to grow, this role will have the opportunity to shape our technology systems, take ownership of larger projects, and expand in hours, scope, and responsibility. For the right person, the position could develop into a broader IT leadership role as the organization’s needs evolve. The intentionally broad compensation range reflects our openness to candidates at different stages of their careers, from developing IT generalists to experienced professionals capable of taking broader ownership of Wisteria’s technology systems.

Responsibilities

  • Purchase, configure, provision, track, and replace employee computers, tablets, phones, and other equipment.
  • Create and manage user accounts, licenses, permissions, shared mailboxes, and security settings.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Manage employee technology onboarding and offboarding.
  • Provide routine technical support to employees.
  • Maintain device security, encryption, updates, multifactor authentication, and access controls.
  • Monitor account activity and assist with cybersecurity and HIPAA-related investigations.
  • Maintain Wisteria’s AWS hosting environment, domains, DNS records, SSL certificates, backups, and deployments.
  • Update and improve Wisteria’s website, including pages, forms, layouts, content, and basic functionality.
  • Troubleshoot website, hosting, performance, and compatibility issues.
  • Maintain documentation for systems, administrative accounts, vendors, and recurring IT processes.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors or developers when specialized support is needed.

Requirements

  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
  • Experience configuring and supporting Windows computers and mobile devices.
  • Familiarity with AWS, website hosting, DNS, and SSL certificates.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage confidential information.

Nice to have

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or website content management systems.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity, multifactor authentication, device encryption, and access control.
  • Healthcare or HIPAA-regulated experience, * Microsoft 365 Admin: 1 year (Required)

  • Flexible schedule, This is a permanent part-time position expected to average 10-15 hours per week. Most work can be completed remotely, although some on-site work in the Atlanta/Decatur area will be required.

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
