The primary job of the Software Engineer will be to support the design and development of the software within the organization’s product line. The Software Engineer will oversee company products from caption through completion. Additionally, he or she will be expected to supply ideas for future product enhancements and will be interfacing directly with the organization’s customers. The Software Engineer will be a part of the Research and Development department and will report directly to the Engineering Manager on-site at the greater Lafayette, Indiana location. The Software Engineer will not manage anyone directly at the Lafayette site., * The Software Engineer will develop new ideas for current and future products in the organization.

• For this job, the Software Engineer support the testing of the software on-site at greater Lafayette.
• The Software Engineer will need to remedy complex issues and obstacles that come up during the production process.
• The Software Engineer will not need to travel outside of greater Lafayette for this job.
• This role will take on any additional tasks as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a different engineering field is required for this job.
• At least 2 years of experience in electronics design or software design is essential for this job.
• Experience with embedded software design is a plus for this job.
