The Technology Department Tier 1 Specialist at Momence CUSD #1 will fulfill an important role. This individual will perform typical duties and assist the Technology Director where necessary. Technical prowess and proficiency with some computer systems administration tasks. Provide first level support to end users on some systems, as well., 1. Perform routine office duties such as filing, telephone answering, and guest reception

Assist Technology director with scheduling of meetings and other department specific activities
- Help maintain and audit the technology physical inventory

Communicate with vendors and other third parties as necessary to coordinate repairs, quotes, and orders

Generate technology department purchase orders and assist with processing of invoices, receipts, and other associated paperwork
- Assist with erate funding filing process and record keeping.

Perform end user account administration across all applicable systems This would include new account creation, password resets, and account auditing. Example systems are Google Apps for Education/G-Mail, MS Active Directory, Uniflow printing, TeacherEase SIS, Proximity card access, and E-mail distribution list maintenance.

Perform routine reporting on systems utilization. Distribute to district administrators as applicable
- Help maintain and track the district’s fleet of mobile devices

Maintain message board systems for all buildings. This would include designing new message slides, converting/uploading staff-provided content, and ensuring proper display

Answer Help Desk calls when support regular support staff is unable. Provide first level support where possible or log the request and assign to the appropriate technician

Monitor the support request logging system and assign/dispatch technicians or escalate tickets as necessary

Assist with the creation of system documentation, instructions, and other end user communications
- Supervise technology interns and/or student assistants when the director is not in the office

Typing/Keyboarding at least 50 WPM Desired Systems Familiarity

- Devices: Windows PCs, Chromebooks, and iPads, Multifunction copiers
Benefits & conditions
