Job description

We are looking for an experienced Computer Systems Engineer - Pega Resource to join the Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) to support the Federal Aviation Administration in the Washington DC Office. As a Computer Systems Engineer - Pega Resource, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions as well as operational support to the program. You will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. The ideal resource will be working as part of a technical support team that designs, builds, maintains and supports the enterprise PEGA infrastructure, reviews, tests and implements patches and upgrades, while developing and maintaining complete and accurate documentation for supported environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field and 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field and 6 years of relevant experience. \n

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass FAA security screening for positions of Public Trust. \n

  • Previous business system solution development experience using Pegasystems (i.e. Pega) software. \n

  • 5+ years in Pega development, with at least 1-2 years specifically in hands on development experience with Constellation \n

  • Deep expertise in Pega Infinity (v8.8, v23, or v24) and the Constellation SDK \n

  • 5+ years supporting PEGA applications \n

  • Proven ability to use critical thinking skills in troubleshooting \n

  • Strong knowledge of PEGA Application packaging, security, rulesets, portals, reports, data migration, developing pega jobs and listeners and other PEGA OOTB tools and hands on experience with Pega Constellation SDK \n

  • Proficiency in defining logical data models, data objects, and relationships that support Constellation’s modular design \n

  • Skilled in REST/SOAP services, Kafka, and data pages for real-time data exchange \n

  • Knowledge of Web technologies: , frameworks, techniques, industry trends, etc. that includes .Net or Java or REACT for Pega Consitllation customization. \n

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills \n
