Director of AI & Technology

We’re looking for an experienced Director of AI & Technology to build and lead the technology foundation of GoodAutos.

This is not an IT support position.

You won’t spend your days fixing printers, resetting passwords, or maintaining office computers.

Instead, you’ll build the technology that powers our company.

You’ll work directly with the CEO to identify opportunities where AI, automation, software, and data can improve every aspect of our business.

Your mission is to help GoodAutos become the most technology-enabled independent automotive retailer in America.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s AI strategy
• Build AI agents that improve business operations
• Create and maintain software integrations
• Design scalable automation workflows
• Build executive dashboards and reporting
• Develop data architecture and business intelligence
• Evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies
• Partner with department leaders to improve efficiency
• Manage technology vendors and software partners
• Reduce operating expenses through automation
• Identify opportunities to eliminate repetitive manual work
• Document technology standards and best practices
• Help recruit future technology talent as the company grows

We’re looking for a builder.

Someone who loves solving problems, learning new technology, and creating systems that make businesses better., * 5+ years of experience in software development, technology leadership, automation, AI implementation, or systems integration

• Strong understanding of APIs and software integrations
• Experience building business automation workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience creating dashboards and business intelligence solutions
• Excellent communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Passion for learning and applying emerging AI technologies
