Job description

We are looking for an passionate tester who likes to work within a big financial organization in Utrecht. You will work within the team that is responsible for developing the portal infrastructure. The team consists of 15 engineers (3 sub teams) in an Agile environment. The organization is in the process of moving manual testing into automation testing. You will work closely together with the developers. This department supports the organization globally on a crucial service that is providing 24/7 Global Self Service, and you will be part of the development team which is made up by highly skilled software engineers with infrastructure knowledge. Besides the testing part, you will also spend some time guiding and helping developers with manual testing knowledge. Functieomschrijving

Designing and developing test automation scripts;
Performing API Testing and UI Testing;
Driving end-to-end quality processes;
Involved with solid testing, manual and automated;
Integrating different test suits in CI/CD pipeline (Azure DevOps)., 25 Vacation days + 0.5 bonus day per quarter if you have remained fit and healthy (read: do not report sick); Travel allowance 19 cents / kilometer; E-learning portal with (almost) all IT training and education that you can propose; 50 euros for medical expenses (you can count gross on top of your salary!).

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or any related software engineering discipline;
3+ years of Test experience;
Understanding of SDLC and STLC;
Experience with test automation, including API and web testing;
Passionate and critical about quality and testing practices;
Experience with Robot framework and/or selenium tool (Python and/or Java) (nice to have);
Knowledge of Testing pyramid and implementation approach (nice to have);
You have basic understanding of Linux and DNS (nice to have);
You have experience with database (nice to have);
You have knowledge about SCRUM/AGILE/DevOps/LEAN;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
