Project Manager (SAP Data)- London

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Project Manager - SAP Data to work for our client within the Energy sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London., Our client is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager with strong data expertise to support the execution of data, analytics, and AI activities within a major SAP S/4 transformation programme. The successful candidate will act as the key integrator between business and technology teams, driving the delivery of data migration, governance, reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives. This role requires a hands on delivery professional with experience managing complex dependencies, stakeholder engagement, delivery planning, and enterprise scale data programmes. Responsibilities:

• Drive day to day delivery of data, analytics, and AI related activities across the SAP S/4 transformation programme.
• Coordinate work across multiple data initiatives, ensuring plans, dependencies, risks, and actions are aligned.
• Develop and manage delivery plans, milestones, RAID logs, and reporting for assigned data activities.
• Act as the key integrator between business, SAP, data, and analytics teams to maintain a consistent delivery approach.
• Work closely with data owners, SAP leads, analytics teams, and enterprise data stakeholders to resolve blockers and maintain delivery momentum.
• Support workshops, governance forums, and alignment sessions to drive decisions and confirm ownership.
• Ensure data deliverables meet agreed quality standards, sign off criteria, and readiness expectations.
• Produce clear delivery updates, status reports, and executive level communications on progress, risks, and key decisions.

• Strong experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Data Workstream Lead within SAP, Data, Analytics, or AI enabled programmes.
• Proven experience delivering complex SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes and managing data related workstreams.
• Strong understanding of data management, data migration, governance, reporting & analytics, data lineage, ETL processes, and data reconciliation.
• Experience coordinating cross functional business and technology teams, managing dependencies, risks, issues, and delivery plans.
• Hands on experience with delivery artefacts including project plans, RAID logs, status reporting, governance packs, and action trackers.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Azure, Databricks, enterprise data platforms, and AI enabled data solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, communication, and delivery execution skills.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project delivery, data management, or SAP transformation programmes.
