Job description

The role

As part of the expansion of Bristol Cyber Security Group the School of Computer Science is seeking to make an appointment of a Professor of Cyber Security, as an open-ended position.

What will you be doing?

We wish to appoint a research active Professor who can provide leadership in their particular field. The main purpose of the role is to carry out excellent and innovative Research and Teaching in an area aligned with that undertaken within Bristol Cyber Security Group.

You should apply if

  • International reputation in research in cyber security, in a research area aligned with that undertaken within Bristol Cyber Security Group;

  • Record of publication in top venues and peer reviewed journals relevant to the area of research;
  • You have experience of teaching and supervising postgraduate and undergraduate students;
  • You have experience of leading and growing an area of research.
