Data Engineer

• Building and maintaining SQL data products in dbt (Data Build Tool)
• Making sure data is accessible, reliable, and ready for our analysts to use
• Designing and maintaining efficient, scalable SQL databases
• Writing Python scripts for data processing, ETL, and database interactions
• Supporting the rollout of AI solutions across the data platform
• Documenting processes and pipelines to support the wider team
• Testing and validating changes thoroughly before deployment

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing data and analytics team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2-3 years’ experience in a data or IT role to build on their skills, take ownership of real projects, and see the results drive genuine business decisions., * 2-3 years’ experience as a Data Engineer

• Expert-level SQL, with the ability to write and optimise complex queries
• Strong experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
• Fluency in Python
• Solid understanding of database architecture and query performance
• Familiarity with Git and an understanding of cloud computing
• A proactive, logical approach to problem-solving and a genuine appetite to learn

Experience within an MSP (Managed Service Provider) or familiarity with networking concepts is a bonus, but not essential.
