Job description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help doctors create and deliver all types of prescriptions, covering the full lifecycle from drug prescription creation and renewal to medication search and paramedical care, across France and Germany. Team is also responsible for the creation of more than 2M prescriptions per week.

You will work within a regulatory-heavy environment, collaborate with external drug database providers, and contribute to medication alert features based on patient profiles.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build features that deliver value to healthcare professionals and patients Design and implement technical solutions ensuring performance, security, and usability across our fullstack applications (React, TypeScript, JVM ecosystem) Contribute to code quality through reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of our development practices Share your expertise and collaborate across teams to evolve Doctolib’s architecture and technical standards

Requirements

  • You have fullstack software engineering experience with React/Typescript and the JVM ecosystem (Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot) - Ruby experience is a bonus
  • You have a “user first” mindset and are committed to building secure, well-tested, and pragmatic code
  • You bring a strong testing culture and are passionate about code quality
  • You are proactive, curious, and eager to share knowledge through pair programming and collaboration
