Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Contract Analyst to oversee and manage a portfolio of critical Master Services Agreements (MSAs) supporting enterprise IT services. This role bridges Finance, Procurement, Legal, and IT, ensuring strong financial governance, contractual compliance, and operational performance across key Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
The ideal candidate brings a financial and contractual foundation and is motivated to work in a fast-evolving IT environment where technology delivery, vendor performance, and cost optimization directly impact business outcomes. This position owns the end-to-end contract lifecycle-from strategic planning and negotiation through execution, performance management, and contract closeout-while driving continuous improvement in vendor governance and service delivery., * Contract Administration & Compliance
- Administer all aspects of contracts, including rates, schedules, amendments, and compliance obligations.
- Manage and document the contract change order process (scope, pricing, approvals).
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, security requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including contract decisions, audit trails, and closeout records.
- Risk Management & Controls
- Implement and enforce scope control processes to minimize out-of-scope spend.
- Track issues such as errors, rework, and service deficiencies, and pursue back charges or remediation as appropriate.
- Monitor subcontracting activities to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Partner with leadership to proactively manage contractual risks, claims, and disputes.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary interface between IT Product Centers, Business Leaders, and Service Providers.
- Communicate contract strategy, performance insights, and risks to directors and senior leadership.
- Train internal stakeholders on contract compliance, financial accountability, and procurement processes.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with MSP leads and key vendors.
- Process Improvement & Reporting
- Develop and maintain contract governance processes, including workflows, RACI models, and control frameworks.
- Leverage tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, SharePoint) to deliver data-driven insights and reporting dashboards.
- Drive continuous improvement in contract management practices, vendor governance, and operational efficiency., Responding to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs is part of every employee’s role. If employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment. This means you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours and location.
Requirements
- Contract & Financial Management
- Strong understanding of contract administration, commercial terms, pricing models, and financial controls
- Experience supporting MSAs, professional services agreements, or managed services contracts
- Ability to interpret legal language and translate into operational and financial impact
- Analytical & Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel skills (including Power Query); ability to analyze and reconcile large datasets
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools (Power BI preferred)
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle tools, ERP systems, or asset management tools (e.g., Maximo)
- SharePoint experience for document management and workflow tracking
- Business & Interpersonal Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities
- Ability to influence stakeholders and operate with assertive, professional judgment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (executive-level readiness)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and process discipline
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving IT environment
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, IT, or related discipline or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in contract management, vendor management, procurement, or financial oversight
- Experience supporting IT services contracts or MSP environments strongly preferred, Build trusting relationships

- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.

Salary is commensurate with your experience. This position is eligible for a potential incentive. The annual salary range for this position is: $93,630.00-$104,030.00
