As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be a key player in our agile development environment. You’ll bridge the gap between software engineers, quality engineers, QA, and operations, ensuring all of our systems (development, testing, deployment, productivity, and operations) are functional, practical, integrated, and as automated as possible. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and scaling our cloud infrastructure, and will play a crucial role in keeping our systems running smoothly.
What you will do:
- Work on a mix of planned projects and interrupt work, such as updating technology, host VPN, client stacks, and Atlassian.
- Own monitoring of internal infrastructure.
- Collaborate with team members to accomplish tasks assigned by the team lead.
- Respond to escalated work from other teams.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience in DevOps engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), EC2, RDS, etc.
- Strong scripting skills with Bash or Python.
- Experience working with Linux.
- Familiarity with command line.
- A bachelor’s degree in IT, software engineering or equivalent field is required, with preference towards master’s degree or higher.
- Bonus: experience with Docker or Kubernetes (as 99% of our current structure is based on Kubernetes).
