Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join a team building scalable, real-time applications in AWS. You’ll focus on backend development, event-driven systems, and data streaming solutions, working closely with engineers across the platform., Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript Build scalable APIs and data streaming solutions Develop cloud-native applications on AWS Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software Contribute to code reviews, testing, and engineering best practices Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability

Requirements

Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript Experience building APIs and microservices Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, or similar streaming technologies Strong understanding of event-driven architectures Hands-on AWS experience Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases Familiarity with CI/CD and modern development practices

Desirable Skills React development experience Kubernetes or Terraform exposure GraphQL experience Experience with high-volume, real-time systems
