Job description

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise encryption and PKI solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Automate certificate lifecycle management including issuance, renewal, deployment, and revocation.
  • Work with engineering teams to develop secure, scalable infrastructure solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical designs, architecture, and implementation plans.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Integrate and support certificate automation across F5 devices, WAFs, web servers, Windows servers, and Azure environments.
  • Collaborate with vendors and coordinate external technical resources as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to security, risk, and regulatory standards and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation, designs, and implementations.
  • Continuously improve automation, efficiency, and reliability of encryption services.

Requirements

Do you have experience in PKI?, SOLU is seeking an experienced Encryption Engineer with expertise in cryptographic automation, certificate lifecycle management, and Azure-based security infrastructure. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing enterprise encryption and PKI solutions while driving automation to replace manual certificate processes. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on engineering experience, deep security knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and compliant solutions., * Minimum of 4 -6+ years of combined higher education and/or professional experience in systems design, infrastructure management, and/or architecture.

  • Hands-on experience in encryption engineering and PKI.
  • Strong experience with certificate lifecycle management (CLM).
  • Experience automating certificate deployment and renewal processes.
  • Experience with KeyFactor or similar enterprise certificate management platforms.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Key Vault.
  • Experience with infrastructure security engineering and automation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enterprise-scale PKI automation experience.
  • Experience working with F5, WAFs, web servers, and Windows server environments.
  • Experience in highly regulated or large enterprise environments.
  • Financial services industry experience (not required).
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
