Job description

As Manager CTSM Supply & Data Integration, you will play a critical role in deploying, configuring and optimizing BioNTech’s Intelligent Clinical Supply Management (ICSM) SAP module within our global Clinical Trial Supply Management (CTSM) division. Acting as a key counterpart to IT, you will help ensure seamless data flow and accuracy across clinical trials while contributing to innovative supply chain solutions. Your work will directly support BioNTech’s mission of delivering therapies that transform lives by advancing our clinical trial capabilities. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to streamline processes, integrate cutting-edge systems, and enhance data reliability. Your Contribution:

  • Support the deployment and optimization of the CTSM digital ecosystem, including ICSM and its integration with systems such as S/4HANA, IRT, and vendor platforms
  • Collaborate with the CTSM Global Template Process Owner by aligning SAP value streams (e.g., I2R, S2S, MDM) with business needs through cross-functional collaboration
  • Identify ICSM/SAP workflow requirements while harmonizing business needs with system capabilities for efficient execution
  • Act as the business process owner representative for SAP/ICSM system URS validation processes
  • Manage projects related to CTSM master data and integration; resolve issues, implement data governance practices, and optimize processes during transformations, It’s our priority to support you:

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in Engineering, Clinical Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Clinical Trial Supply Management within pharmaceutical/biotech or regulated industries; experience with system providers is an advantage
  • Expertise in ERP/IT implementation projects such as SAP S/4HANA; familiarity with ICSM modules and third-party data integration concepts
  • Proven skills in executing SAP-supported clinical supply processes like material management, demand/supply planning, and logistics using tools like Kinaxis, ICSM, IRT or Veeva
  • Strong project management abilities paired with excellent organizational and communication skills for stakeholder engagement
  • Fluency in English (business-professional level); German proficiency is highly desirable
