Job description

Our client is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their IT team. This role owns the health of end-user computer hardware, software, and applications, acting as the final point of contact for technical support while managing endpoint deployment and automation across a Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environment. This role is 5 days onsite in Westerville, OH

This is an opportunity to take true ownership of the IT environment rather than just ticket-hop. You’ll be trusted to identify improvement opportunities, execute projects, and manage endpoint processes end-to-end using tools like Intune, all while building out documentation, training, and reporting that make the whole organization run smoother. It’s a great fit for a systems administrator who wants visibility, autonomy, and room to grow their skill set., * Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 environment and Intune management

  • Experience managing documentation, audits, and reports
  • Experience developing and delivering end-user training to reduce support issues and increase productivity
  • Experience supporting new user setup, onboarding, and cross-facility technical support

What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown

  • 50% Windows 10/11 Endpoint Management & Deployment (Intune)
  • 30% Microsoft 365 Administration
  • 20% Network Infrastructure & Hardware Support

Daily Responsibilities

  • 50% Hands-On Support: root cause resolution for end-user hardware, software, and application issues
  • 30% Management Duties: endpoint deployment, documentation, audits, reporting, and new user setup
  • 20% Team Collaboration: end-user training, process improvement, and special projects

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a systems administration or IT support role
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware components, software applications, and network infrastructure
  • Experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 10 & Windows 11)
  • Experience creating, testing, and automating the deployment of end-user software, images, applications, and patches using endpoint management tools
