Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join a growing engineering team responsible for building, automating, and supporting modern cloud-native infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact, greenfield initiative focused on designing and scaling enterprise platforms that support mission-critical applications and data workloads. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and cloud infrastructure operations., * Design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Terragrunt).

  • Deploy, manage, and support containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Helm.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure platform availability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
  • Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve platform capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including:

  • IAM
  • EC2
  • AMIs
  • EBS
  • EFS
  • VPC Networking
  • Route 53
  • EKS
  • CloudWatch
  • CloudWatch Alarms
  • Experience with:

  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • Terragrunt
  • Helm
  • Git
  • GitHub and/or GitLab
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of observability and monitoring tools, including:

  • Splunk
  • OpenTelemetry (OTel)
  • Prometheus
  • Grafana
  • Alertmanager
  • Programming and scripting experience with:

  • Python
  • Shell scripting (Bash)
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with distributed file storage technologies such as NFS, Amazon FSx, OpenZFS, or similar.
