Job description

We are seeking an SAP Finance Analyst with approximately 5+ years of experience supporting finance systems in an SAP environment. This role will partner with Finance and IT teams to support day-to-day operations, system enhancements, reporting, and process improvements. The ideal candidate understands finance processes, has experience working within SAP, and enjoys working directly with business users to solve problems., * Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to support business processes and system improvements.

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Support SAP Finance-related enhancements, configurations, testing, and production issues.
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities from a systems perspective.
Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate system changes.
Troubleshoot application issues and work with technical teams to resolve them.
Create and maintain functional documentation and process documentation.
Support reporting, data validation, and reconciliation activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and third-party vendors.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Approximately 5+ years of experience supporting SAP Finance applications.
Experience working with SAP Finance (FI) and familiarity with modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Asset Accounting.
Understanding of accounting and financial business processes.
Experience gathering business requirements and supporting system enhancements.
Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders., * Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Familiarity with SAP FICO concepts.
Experience supporting financial reporting and month-end close.
Experience with Agile project methodologies.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori or reporting tools is a plus.
