Goose Global Media 1099 Software Engineer

This isn’t a full-time gig. We’re looking for someone who wants extra income on their own schedule – a few hours here and there, as issues come up. You’d be consulting on:

• WordPress site troubleshooting, maintenance, and updates
• Wix site support and troubleshooting
• General JavaScript / front-end coding help
• Using AI tools (Claude) to speed up or assist with dev work
• General “something’s broken, can you look at it” problem-solving across client websites

• Comfortable working across WordPress and Wix platforms
• Solid JavaScript and general coding skills
• Familiarity with AI coding tools like Claude (or willingness to use them)
• Able to troubleshoot independently and communicate clearly about what you find/fix
• Reliable and responsive when a client issue comes up – but no set schedule required
• Perfect for someone with a full-time job, freelancer, or student looking to pick up occasional side work

$30 - $35 an hour - Contract, We’re not looking for a huge time commitment – just a dependable person we can turn to when we need an extra set of hands.
