Job description
- Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools, ensuring clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Salesforce issues across Apex, Flows, LWCs, and integrations, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
- Lead and participate in code and configuration reviews to ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Develop and maintain automated testing (Apex unit tests, integration tests, and UI testing where applicable) to ensure reliability and continuous improvement of Salesforce applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including admins, developers, project managers, business analysts, and product owners, to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Own delivery of Salesforce features and enhancements, contributing within project teams and leading moderate-to-complex initiatives such as new capabilities, major enhancements, and integrations.
- Support and mentor team members by sharing guidance on Salesforce development patterns, including trigger frameworks, service layers, and integration best practices.
- Monitor and optimize Salesforce application performance, implementing tuning improvements and sharing best practices with the broader team.
- Document code changes, design decisions, and development processes to support knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability.
Requirements
The Salesforce Developer collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements, build and maintain high-quality code, and lead technology-related projects that deliver scalable solutions. The Salesforce Developer should have experience working in project methodologies (Scrum or Waterfall) in a remote setting. This is a remote 6-month contract., * 4+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on development on the Salesforce platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related experience preferred.
- Strong Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and declarative tools such as Flows and validation rules; additional programming experience (JavaScript, C#, Java, Python) is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and RESTful APIs, along with familiarity with web development concepts such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Understanding of scalable and secure Salesforce architecture, including data modeling, profiles/permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and translate technical constraints for non-technical stakeholders.
