Job description

  • Oversee the design, configuration, and ongoing improvement of endpoint management tools such as Intune, ensuring security and compliance
  • Lead Autopilot and device provisioning projects, including enrollment workflows and lifecycle management strategies
  • Develop and implement Windows update policies, managing rollout rings, feature releases, and remediation efforts
  • Maintain endpoint hygiene by ensuring policy consistency, device profiling, and documentation practices are upheld
  • Drive endpoint security initiatives, including vulnerability assessments, threat mitigation, and tool tuning
  • Support identity and access solutions, ensuring seamless device integration with authentication systems and enforcing conditional access policies
  • Manage and troubleshoot specialized manufacturing devices and thin clients, ensuring operational continuity
  • Lead change initiatives through established change management processes, coordinating across teams and documenting procedures

Are you an experienced endpoint engineering professional eager to take on a leadership role that impacts large-scale device initiatives? We’re working on behalf of a client seeking a talented Lead Endpoint Engineer who will oversee the entire lifecycle of end-user devices across multiple manufacturing sites. This is a strategic position that offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide endpoint security and management standards. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and has proven expertise in modern endpoint solutions, this is your chance to make a significant impact-while working in a hybrid model (typically 2 to 3 days onsite). The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong technical foundation and a history of managing complex endpoint programs at scale. Key Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with endpoint management platforms like Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Windows lifecycle management
  • Proven ability to design, deploy, and optimize security policies and compliance standards across large device fleets
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint security tools such as Defender for Endpoint and similar security solutions
  • Skilled in managing identity integrations with Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and SSO
  • Experience supporting hybrid identity environments, including Active Directory and cloud integrations
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving urgent endpoint security incidents, ensuring minimal operational downtime
  • Prior experience managing thin clients and specialized device configurations in manufacturing or production facilities
  • Capable of leading complex projects independently, including OS upgrades, migrations, and large-scale deployment programs
  • Excellent change management skills, including authoring and implementing change requests in formal CAB processes
