Systems & Network Administrator (Lead IT Specialist)

Austin Career Institute (ACI) is seeking a skilled, proactive Systems & Network Administrator to lead our internal IT operations. This individual will manage Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure, Cisco/enterprise network hardware, Zero Trust cybersecurity, help desk support, VoIP communications, physical security cameras, and serve as technical lead for upcoming Student Management System (SMS) and Learning Management System (LMS) migrations., * M365 Cloud Administration: Manage Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and Conditional Access.

• Network Engineering: Administer switches, routers, VLANs, Wi-Fi 6 access points, firewalls, and structured cabling across campus.
• Cybersecurity & Zero Trust: Enforce MFA, Purview DLP, endpoint protection, vulnerability patching, and immutable SaaS backups.
• Technical Project Leadership: Act as technical lead for the Google-to-M365 migration and the upcoming SMS/LMS software transitions.
• Campus Help Desk & Infrastructure: Provide desktop support (<15 min SLA), manage hardware lifecycles, Avaya/Teams VoIP, and security camera NVRs.

4+ years in Systems Administration, Network Engineering, and M365 Administration.

• Deep expertise in Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, and Exchange Online.
• Hands-on network administration (VLANs, Firewalls, Switches, Enterprise Wi-Fi).
• Certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+/Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft 365 Associate.
