Requirements
Do you have experience in Vulnerability scanning?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Garden Grove, CA: IT Infrastructure & Security Administrator role focuses on maintaining network reliability and implementing security protocols, ideal candidate will have 3-6+ years of experience in both infrastructure and cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities an IT Infrastructure & Security Admin ensures system integrity, security, and performance. Common responsibilities include Infrastructure Management: Maintaining servers, LAN/WAN networks, and data center hardware. Security Administration: Implementing, auditing, and enforcing security policies, firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA), and endpoint protection. Cloud Operations: Managing Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, or SaaS platforms. Threat Mitigation: Monitoring system performance and security logs (e.g., SIEM tools) for vulnerabilities. Access Control: Managing user access rights, permissions, and MFA (e.g., Cisco DUO).Backup & Disaster Recovery: Ensuring data integrity through consistent backup procedures.
Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: Generally, 3-6+ years of experience in system administration and security. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows/macOS, Active Directory, virtualization, networking protocols (VPN, VLANs), and vulnerability scanning. Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is often preferred, but extensive experience is acceptable. Certifications: Security+ (CompTIA), CCNA, or Microsoft Certifications (e.g., MCSA, Azure) are highly valued.
