API Automation Lead

• Manual & Automation functional testing, but not limited to Java+Selenium, Robo framework…etc.
• API (Integration) testing knowledge with experience in API testing tools such as Postman/SoapUI, Karate.
• Understanding and implementation of correct source control and branching strategies using Git.
• Create and present component/E2E test strategy, test plans, test approach, test cases, status and test summary reports to relevant business, internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to design and configure an Agile testing pipeline in a CI/CD tool (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo) in tandem with test management tools like JIRA.
• Ability to see the big picture and work independently involving multiple complex upstream and downstream applications & teams in Credit Card Servicing area but still pay attention to the smallest detail.
• Strong analytical skills to constantly communicate with multiple business/technical teams on agile requirements, draft test artifacts and constantly adapt them as per release cycles.
• Understand the current gaps w.r.t other testing areas of involved crew teams and advise QA engineers on Testing Coverage & Automation best practices.
• Participate in software release and post-release activities, including increasing test coverage, development of regression test pack, designs for proof of concepts.
• Learn and experiment with new testing tools & technologies on a regular basis.
• Great articulation and communication within the team as well as with the clients directly to represent QE team’s voice at multiple forums and provide Release go-ahead at Business leadership level.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
