You will own development of a multi-jurisdiction platform that processes authorized legal demands while protecting customer privacy through layered authorization, field level access control, and instance isolation per country. You will manage day to day team execution, grow engineers’ skills, define goals and success metrics, and drive architecture decisions across platform components including identity management, rules engines, case management, and secure data delivery. You will partner with legal, compliance, and policy stakeholders across jurisdictions to translate regulatory requirements into working software, and you will identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual processing while maintaining security controls.

A day in the life

You will review security designs against established rubrics, ensuring new features enforce verified identity, mandate scoped disclosure, and jurisdictional containment before any data is accessed. You will coordinate with legal teams on country specific requirements, drive your engineers through sprint execution, and make tradeoff decisions between delivery velocity and security rigor. You will work closely with principal engineers and partner teams on integration points including customer data stores, encrypted delivery mechanisms, and external compliance systems.

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum., 3+ years of engineering team management experience

• 7+ years of engineering experience

• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience

• 3+ years of Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupational experience

• 1+ years of providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle experience

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy

• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers

• Experience in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between
