GIS Consultant || Houston/Palm Beach || ONSITE or REMOTE

Spatial Data Pipelines: Design, automate, and maintain spatial ETL workflows using Safe Software FME (Form & Flow) for multi-format data transformations. Esri Enterprise Administration: Manage and optimize the ArcGIS Enterprise environment (ArcGIS Pro, Portal, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online). Geodatabase Management: Administer multi-user Enterprise Geodatabases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS or MS SQL Server), including schema design, spatial indexing, and versioning. Automation & Integration: Script automated workflows using Python (ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python) and SQL to integrate geospatial data with enterprise systems (ERP, Asset Management). Web Services & Support: Publish and maintain map/feature services (including OGC standards) and provide tier-2/3 support for spatial data issues.

We are looking for a versatile Geospatial Generalist IT Specialist to manage spatial data engineering, enterprise GIS administration, and workflow automation. This role bridges the gap between spatial data domain needs and enterprise IT infrastructure using Esri technologies and Safe Software FME., 4+ years of experience in enterprise GIS operations or spatial data engineering. Advanced proficiency with Safe Software FME (Desktop/Server) and the Esri ArcGIS Suite. Experience with enterprise spatial databases (PostGIS or SQL Server Spatial). Strong Python and SQL scripting skills. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, REST APIs, and spatial data standards (GeoJSON, CAD/GIS integration). Preferred Qualifications Safe Software FME Certification (Professional or Server Professional). Esri Technical Certification (Enterprise Administration or Geodatabase Management). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) or open-source GIS tools (QGIS, GDAL).
