Job description
Workday Integrations specialist including prior exposure to Studio, EBIs, SOAP & REST APIs.
The Interface Architect II designs and develops user interfaces with a focus on usability and performance for pediatric healthcare applications. This role works closely with healthcare providers and designers to translate requirements into functional interfaces, mentors junior developers, and conducts usability testing to analyze feedback from healthcare staff and patients’ families.
Develops tactical plans for IT technical solutions in accordance with the Health Systems IT Infrastructure Roadmap. Works across the IT organization in support of IT infrastructure, participating in educational opportunities, on-call support and change management. Develops conceptual and logical designs in support of the Health System’s technology requirements in accordance with Health System technology lifecycles. Maintains a long-range view of future needs and solutions. Plans for technology end-of-life and refresh cycles. Develops architected solutions that work with core IT strategies: applications, networks, desktop/peripherals, server, storage, cloud, etc. Works with other IT infrastructure architects, suppliers and project teams in support of implementing new solutions. Coordinates the requirements gathering review solutions received from the vendor and provides the bridge between the technical domain architects and Information Services teams to ensure the technology infrastructure meets the technical and business requirements., * Collaborate with stakeholders and Senior Interface architect to implement UI/UX best practices and align the infrastructure with the organization’s goals and needs.

Maintains a meticulous approach to ensuring data integrity and security across all interfaces, implementing best practices and compliance standards.

Actively engages in professional development, staying updated with the latest healthcare industry standards, interface technologies, and best practices.

Conduct usability testing and analyze feedback from healthcare staff and patients’ families to improve interfaces. Designs and implements scalable, reliable solutions for complex interface requirements, ensuring long-term sustainability and efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Design, Business or Information Technology (Required) High School Diploma or GED Relevant experience in integration architecture beyond the minimum required work experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a 1-1 ratio i.e. one year of relevant work experience equals one year of required education. (Required)
Minimum Work Experience 3 years At least 3 years of interface architecture experience, or 3 years of application analyst experience, with focused experience on interface testing. (Required), Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with understanding of healthcare workflows Independently tackles complex problems, providing innovative solutions with minimal guidance. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the organization’s policies and procedures. Extensive understanding of healthcare and revenue cycle workflows, with the ability to optimize and streamline processes. Utilizes advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to address intricate interface challenges and improve system performance. Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading discussions and presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences, including senior management. Mastery of healthcare interface technologies and tools, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members. Leads cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication of technical concepts and requirements. Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX design principles, with the ability to develop and refine user interfaces to enhance user experience. Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities Ability to build strong customer relationships
