Job description
Data Analysts will work in a fast paced collaborative team and are responsible for analyzing and adjudicating system events to help resolve and restore system anomalies to improve overall system efficiencies. Day to day responsibilities include-
- analysis and interpretation of data for correlation of events
- presenting findings, or translation of data into an understandable documents
- communication with various stakeholders
- reports for trending analysis
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; DoD Top Secret/SCI with poly clearance is required., 1. Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time 2. Sitting for extended periods of time. 3. Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction. 4. Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard. 5. Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. 6. Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. 7. Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. 8. Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. 9. Identify and understand the speech of another person.
Requirements
4-6 years experience in an administrative support or analyst role
- High School Diploma/ GED
- ability to understand complex electronic systems
- work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel)
- analytical skills
- critical thinking
- attention to detail
Desire technical knowledge of electronic security systems, database and knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, like Tableau or Splunk, is preferred
