Job description
Our client is seeking a hands-on Senior IT Manager to oversee daily IT operations, infrastructure, user support, and enterprise technology systems across multiple nationwide companies and offices.
This role is responsible for maintaining stable and secure technology operations while supporting internal employees, field operations, and enterprise systems. The Senior IT Manager will work closely with leadership, vendors, and internal departments to ensure reliable infrastructure, responsive support, proper documentation, and operational efficiency across the organization.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically strong, operationally responsive, and capable of managing both day-to-day support operations and larger IT initiatives in a fast-paced environment., IT Operations & Support
- Oversee daily IT operations and internal support activities across nationwide offices
- Manage ticket queues, escalations, support workflows, and issue resolution
- Ensure timely onboarding and offboarding of employees and contractors
- Maintain IT inventory, device tracking, software licensing, and hardware deployments
- Establish and maintain support standards, documentation, and operational procedures
- Assist users with technical issues involving computers, networks, mobile devices, software, printers, and cloud platforms
Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Support and maintain:
- Microsoft 365
- Azure / Entra ID
- SonicWall firewalls
- VPN connectivity
- Windows servers and endpoints
- Wireless and wired networking
- Backup and disaster recovery systems
- Monitor system uptime, reliability, and performance across all locations
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for infrastructure support and issue resolution
- Assist with cybersecurity initiatives including MFA, endpoint protection, patching, and access management
Kaseya / Datto Ecosystem Administration
- Administer and support the company’s IT management platforms including:
- Autotask PSA
- IT Glue
- Datto RMM
- Datto backup systems
- Kaseya endpoint management and security tools
- Maintain documentation standards within IT Glue
- Manage endpoint monitoring, scripting, patching, and automation through Datto RMM
- Assist with ticket workflow improvements and operational automation
- Ensure accurate device and configuration tracking across systems
Enterprise Applications
- Support business-critical applications including:
- NetSuite
- Workforce management systems
- Scheduling and dispatch platforms
- HR/payroll systems
- CRM platforms
- Reporting and operational software
- Assist with troubleshooting integrations and software-related issues
- Coordinate with departments to improve workflows and technology usage
Security & Compliance
- Follow and enforce IT security standards and best practices
- Assist with access control management and user permissions
- Support backup validation, disaster recovery procedures, and cybersecurity initiatives
- Help identify operational risks, recurring issues, and infrastructure weaknesses
Vendor & Project Coordination
- Coordinate with IT vendors, internet providers, software providers, and contractors
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, office deployments, hardware rollouts, and IT projects
- Help manage timelines, documentation, and implementation tasks for technology initiatives
Requirements
Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, Required
- 5+ years of IT administration or IT management experience
- Experience supporting multi-location environments
- Strong experience with:
- Microsoft 365
- Azure / Entra ID
- SonicWall firewalls
- Windows environments
- Networking and VPN infrastructure
- Endpoint management
- SaaS applications
- Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operational issues simultaneously
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred
- Experience with:
- Autotask PSA
- IT Glue
- Datto RMM
- Datto backup systems
- Kaseya products
- Experience with NetSuite or ERP systems
- Experience in security, staffing, logistics, or field-service industries
- Familiarity with VoIP systems, surveillance systems, or access control technology
- Experience with automation, scripting, or workflow optimization
- Industry certifications preferred:
- Microsoft
