Job description
Architecture & Leadership
- Lead end-to-end design and development of resilient, high-performance distributed systems and microservices.
- Provide technical governance by establishing coding standards, conducting strict code reviews, and choosing the right tech stacks.
- Mentor and scale junior and mid-level software engineers to elevate the team’’s overall technical capability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and cloud architects, to translate product roadmaps into high-utility technical solutions.
Backend Engineering
- Architect scalable backend ecosystems using Core Java (Java 11/17+) and the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA).
- Design high-performance RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints optimized for high availability and low latency.
- Implement asynchronous event-driven architectures using message brokers like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SNS/SQS.
- Manage and optimize databases, establishing efficient data modeling across both Relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis) systems.
Frontend Engineering
- Build modern user interfaces by designing modular, responsive, and performance-tuned SPAs using Angular (14+) or React.js with TypeScript.
- State Management: Implement robust client-side state management architectures (e.g., Redux, NgRx) to handle complex enterprise workflows.
- Bridge UI and Backend codebases seamlessly, ensuring optimal rendering, bundling, asset optimization, and security practices (e.g., XSS and CSRF prevention).
DevOps, Cloud & Delivery
- Containerize and orchestrate services utilizing Docker and Kubernetes across enterprise cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Own CI/CD maturity by configuring automated build, test, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Terraform.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, utilizing application performance monitoring (APM) tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
Requirements
Experience Metrics
- Total Experience: 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Core Backend Focus: 7+ years of deep hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Frontend UI Focus: 4+ years working with Angular or React.
