Job description

Analyze and document existing COBOL programs, including program logic, data flows, and integration points.
Provide high-quality, detailed written and verbal responses to project-specific prompts and tasks.
Identify and explain business logic and technical requirements present in legacy system code and documentation.
Contribute domain knowledge to the creation and refinement of AI training data sets.
Review and clarify technical specifications to ensure accurate model understanding and outputs.
Collaborate virtually with project managers and technical stakeholders to meet deliverables and milestones.

Requirements

Proficiency in COBOL programming.
Familiarity with mainframe or midrange environments.
Experience interpreting legacy system documentation and business logic.
Understanding of data processing concepts such as batch operations or transaction management in COBOL environments.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in written and verbal English.
Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to code analysis and documentation.
Interest or experience working on collaborative, remote projects with cross functional teams.
Curiosity about AI systems and a willingness to contribute to innovative technology initiatives.
