Job description

Our team is currently seeking a Sr. Software Engineer/Full-Stack Java Developer.

Requirements

Certifications: CompTIA Security+ (or must be willing to obtain within a month of joining the program), In this role, you will use your solid foundation in Java and experience working in a Linux environment to comprehend customer needs and translate those needs into viable design solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to use your understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns, and Object Oriented architecture. The candidate must also demonstrate critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well.

Clearance / Citizenship Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance with 1 year of starting U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Required Skills: 5+ years software development experience Minimum 3+ years’ experience developing complex applications with Java Proven problem solving and analytical abilities Demonstrated experience with Agile and DevSecOps toolsets such as Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, and Cucumber Desired Skills: Security+ Certification Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with Agile development methodologies Experience with DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery Experience with AWS Cloud Technologies Experience with building automated tests
