Warehouseman/Technology

Perform fast paced, high volume shipping and receiving process by comparing identifying information by counts, weights, or measures of items against bills of lading, packing lists, invoices, or other records. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.

• Receive and verify shipments against bills of lading, packing lists, and purchase orders.

• Record all shipments to database software accurately including asset tagging when required.

• Communicate with vendors regarding shipment discrepancies.

• Ensure warehouse delivery vehicle is properly maintained.

• Maintain accurate inventory control.

• Install and upgrade computers and peripherals.

• Relocate computer hardware, peripherals, and equipment as needed.

• Service equipment according to established preventative maintenance schedule.

• Maintain accurate updated records of preventative maintenance.

• Maintain accurate records of time and materials required to perform repairs and service.

• Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures.

• Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, climbing, carrying.

• Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor immediately.

• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

• Maintain confidentiality of information.

• Maintain regular attendance.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Record keeping?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Two (2) years of experience in the following:

• Shipping / receiving accounting and inventory control
• Working with databases/record keeping
• MS Office Suite, email
• Use of inventory tracking software, Education/Certification:
• High school diploma or GED
• Clear and valid Texas driver’s license

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge of computer workstation setup
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs
• Have dependable transportation
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Good people skills

Maintain emotional control under stress. Occasional district travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours. The following physical requirements and or capabilities are what an employee needs to possess in order to meet the physical demands of the job:

• Walking (move about on foot)
• Carrying (transporting an object by hand)
• Crouching (bending the body downward and forward by bending the knees and spine)
• Climbing (ascending and descending stairs)
• Lifting (able to lift 50 - 60 lbs.)
• Kneeling (bending legs at the knees to come to rest on the knees)
• Pulling (able to exert force upon an object so the object moves toward the force (includes jerking)
• Pushing (exerting force upon an object so the object moves away from the force)
• Bending (ability to move at the waist downward and upward with reasonable mobility), PAY GRADE: AUX - 5 - Minimum hourly rate - $20.75
