Job description

  • Design, configure, and maintain Fortinet network environments (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAnalyzer) and Ruckus wireless solutions.
  • Implement and manage firewall rules, VPNs, VLANs, and SD-WAN policies.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance across wired and wireless infrastructures.
  • Support large-scale events with custom network setups and bandwidth tuning.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and operations teams on threat detection, compliance, and incident response.
  • Maintain network documentation, change management records, and backup strategies.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for planned upgrades or event support.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Fortinet products for wired connectivity and Ruckus wireless connectivity.
  • Fortinet NSE certifications (NSE 4 or higher strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on knowledge of FortiOS CLI, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
  • Solid understanding of network segmentation, secure design, and NIST CSF principles.
  • Experience with enterprise switching, wireless infrastructure, and structured cabling.
  • Self-motivated with excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with high-density WiFi, AV over IP, or digital signage deployments.
  • Familiarity with NAC, RADIUS, and authentication systems.
  • Background in supporting technology for large-scale venues or live events.
