Test Technician, Specialist

• Work as part of a large test and engineering systems organization which handles test automation infrastructure, test strategy, est plan development and execution & report management in Power and thermal test areas of Modem, Multimedia, AI and other technologies.
• Role will include daily collaboration with other test engineers in power ecosystem as well as product engineers.
• Use power measurement equipment to collect measurements for system use cases on test platform
• Manual and Automated execution of test cases for Power/Thermal Dashboards on all Qualcomm chipset for various HLOS and non-HLOS Subsystems (Android, Windows etc.).
• Provide test results and characterization/optimization data to cross functional teams.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of testing, measurement, or related work experience., * 4+ years Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
• Experience in any operating systems platform testing (Google Android, Windows phone etc)
• Analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• High level organization and results documentation
• Passion for learning and intellectual curiosity
• Communication and ability to partner with others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated.
• Thermal/Power test experience on any platform is a plus
• Experience in multi-media technologies (Audio, Video, Camera & etc.) is a plus
• Knowledge/experience of embedded systems is a plus
• Knowledge of SW product cycle is a plus
• Development skills in Python, C/C++ is a plus
