Business Solutions Manager

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Liaise with our Financial manager and Accounting manager to improve financial procedures
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Accountant to join our well-established client’s organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to our company’s financial health, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5+ years’ experience in the accounting field, preferably with some public accounting knowledge/experience. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures., * Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles

• Awareness of business trends
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• MBA Preferred; BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field required
• Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) will be preferred
• 3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Advanced degree in Accounting
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
