  • Align AI capabilities with business goals and evaluate new technologies, tools, and platforms (e.g., AWS, OpenAI, LangChain).
  • Establish and evangelize standards, patterns, and reusable components for integrations (API conventions, error handling, versioning, logging, monitoring) to ensure consistent, maintainable implementations.
  • Evaluate and select vendor / SaaS integration options, middleware and ETL tools, and cloud services; lead technical vendor assessments and ensure vendor deliverables comply with architecture and validation requirements.
  • Lead technical workshops, solution and design reviews, and security/architecture gate reviews; provide technical governance and sign-off for solution readiness and cutover.

  • Manage the risks and issues lifecycle: identify, assess, mitigate, escalate, and report; maintain RAID logs and change control processes.
  • Mentor and coach the delivery team on integration best practices, data modelling, and testing for complex migrations.

Requirements

  • Proven track record reviewing and producing integration and data artefacts: ER diagrams, data dictionaries, sequence diagrams, S2T mapping documents.
  • Experience producing architecture and compliance documentation to support validation and audit activities.
  • Experience establishing integration standards (APIs, error handling, logging, monitoring) and applying them across teams.
  • Experience planning and leading data migrations and integration test cycles, including UAT coordination and cutover readiness.
  • Strong governance skills: RAID management, change control, vendor assessment, and technical sign-off responsibilities.
  • Proven experience of mentoring technical teams and providing hands-on technical leadership.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with API design (REST/GraphQL), message brokers, and event-driven architecture
  • Knowledge of clinical data standards and experience coordinating testing with clinical stakeholders.
  • Certifications in cloud or integration technologies and formal training in data governance or data modelling.
