Job description

We are seeking a talented Solution Architect to design and oversee the implementation of integrated digital and manufacturing technology solutions within a regulated Life Sciences environment in Belgium.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Designing end-to-end solution architectures that integrate key manufacturing systems (ERP, MES, LIMS, DCS, BMS) into a coherent, scalable, and compliant digital manufacturing ecosystem aligned with client business objectives
  • Translating complex business and operational requirements into robust technical architectures, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, future-proof, and compliant with GxP and data integrity standards
  • Providing architectural governance and technical leadership across project delivery teams, reviewing designs, validating integration approaches, and ensuring consistency across the solution landscape
  • Collaborating with client IT, operations, and quality stakeholders to assess the current technology landscape, identify gaps, and define a clear roadmap for digital transformation aligned with industry best practices

Requirements

  • You hold a degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline, and bring at least 3 years of experience as a Solution or Enterprise Architect in complex digital transformation programs, ideally within Life Sciences or another regulated industry
  • You have strong knowledge of manufacturing technology ecosystems including one or more of the following: SAP (ERP), Siemens Opcenter or AVEVA (MES), LabWare (LIMS), DeltaV (DCS), or Honeywell (BMS), and understand how these systems integrate within a digital manufacturing environment
  • You are experienced in architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g.,TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent) and are comfortable leading technical discussions at both strategic and detailed design levels
  • You bring a collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • You are fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is an asset
