Job description

  • Fullstack, We are looking for a Mid to Senior Software Developer to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a varied technology stack, contributing to product development, and helping shape solutions used throughout the NHS. We work closely with our development and QA teams, taking ownership of features from design through to deployment while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability. This is a hybrid role, with remote working available and a requirement to work from our North Walsham office at least one day per week to support collaboration and planning. Our core technologies include React, Laravel, Ubuntu, PHP, Laminas, .NET, Node.js, Vite, and the ELK stack. The salary is £40,000 to £65,000 per year.

Requirements

  • We have commercial experience as a software developer at mid or senior level.
  • We are comfortable working across both backend and frontend technologies.
  • We write clean, maintainable, well-structured code.
  • We enjoy solving complex technical problems.
  • We work well both independently and as part of a small collaborative team.
  • We are proactive and willing to take ownership of our work.
  • We communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • We are keen to continuously improve ourselves and the products we work on.
  • Desirable: experience working within healthcare or health technology.
  • Desirable: experience integrating with NHS systems.
  • Desirable: understanding of interoperability standards and healthcare APIs.
  • Desirable: experience working within Agile or Kanban environments.
  • Desirable: familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
