Job description

Design, build, and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure environments.
Support hardware development, deployment, testing, and demonstrations.
Design and implement LAN, WAN, and VLAN networks.
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments.
Manage virtualisation platforms such as VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V.
Configure and maintain firewall platforms and security controls.
Manage hardware lifecycle activities, upgrades, and capacity planning.
Maintain hardware inventory, asset tracking, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with technical teams and engage with customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven experience delivering and supporting hardware and infrastructure solutions in Defence, government, or commercial environments.
Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, virtualisation, and Windows/Linux administration.
Experience supporting systems in live operational environments.
Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and security best practices.
Comfortable communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and source control tools is desirable.
