Job description

Keystone Solutions is recruiting a Data Developer (Data Engineer) for a renewable consultancy mission with our client. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will join the client?s data solutions team responsible for managing, maintaining, and evolving data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and SAP BO/DS). You will contribute to development, maintenance, and support of Azure & Fabric BI solutions (both corrective and evolutionary work)., This is a consultancy role where you will work on-site at the client?s location while employed by Keystone Solutions. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, operate within their delivery context, and bring Keystone Solutions? standards and excellence to each engagement., Partial remote work is possible in alignment with the client?s manager; however, a minimum on-site presence of 2 days per week at the client?s site in Gosselies is mandatory. Additional on-site days may be requested occasionally based on service needs. As the Gosselies site is not easily accessible by public transportation, a valid driver?s license and access to a vehicle are preferred for commuting., * Develop ingestion pipelines using Fabric Data Factory (and understand Azure Data Factory).

  • Develop data transformation flows using Fabric Factory Notebook.
  • Optimize transformation queries, particularly considering associated Azure costs.
  • Contribute to Lakehouse modeling.
  • Define the technical design and implement the medallion architecture (silver and gold) in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Establish the unit test plan (automatable) for the solution.
  • Follow/execute unit tests.
  • Participate in effort estimation for development activities during request scoping.
  • Write technical documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement (development guidelines).
  • Contribute to maintenance and incident resolution (production)., Dynamic Projects as a Keystone Solutions Consultant:

Within the consultancy model, you will address evolving client needs across BI and data engineering initiatives, collaborating directly with stakeholders and contributing to both corrective and evolutionary development in modern data platforms.

Requirements

  • Open table format knowledge (Delta, Iceberg) ? Must have: Yes.
  • Language requirement: French level C2 on the CEFR scale ? Must have: Yes.
  • Experience as a data developer / data engineer ? Must have: 5 years; Senior (more than 5 years).
  • Proven experience with Cloud Data tools (Azure, AWS, GCP, …) ? Must have: 3 years; Medior (3 to 5 years).
  • Proven experience with the Spark framework (PySpark) ? Must have: 3 years; Medior (3 to 5 years).
  • Proven experience with Python ? Must have: Yes.
  • Proven use of SQL & T-SQL ? Must have: Yes.
  • Proven experience in the Azure ecosystem ? Must have: Yes.
  • Proven experience in the Fabric ecosystem ? Must have: 0.5 years; Junior (1 to 2 years).
  • Proven experience with Git and CI/CD ? Must have: Yes.
  • Proven experience in dimensional modeling ? Must have: Yes.
  • Mastery of Lakehouse principles ? Must have: Yes.
  • Fabric Data Engineer Associate certification (DP-700: Implementing Data Engineering Solutions Using Microsoft Fabric) ? Should have.
  • Knowledge of secure development best practices and experience implementing them ? Should have: Yes.
  • Language requirement: English level B1 on the CEFR scale ? Should have: Yes.
  • Mastery of Fabric Data Factory and/or Azure Data Factory ? Should have: Yes.
  • Mastery of Synapse Spark or Fabric or Databricks ? Should have: Yes.
  • Mastery of Azure Storage Account / OneLake principles ? Should have: Yes.
  • Theoretical knowledge in UML modeling (Class diagram) ? Nice to have: Yes.
  • Experience as a developer on SAP BO/DS platforms ? Nice to have: Yes.
  • Significant/effective experience with DAX and Power BI ? Nice to have: Yes., Apply your proven experience in data engineering, cloud data tools, Spark/PySpark, SQL/T-SQL, and Lakehouse design to deliver scalable solutions, optimize performance and costs, implement unit testing, maintain high-quality documentation, and resolve production incidents in close partnership with the client.
