Job description

We ARE Infotech is looking for an IT Program / Transition Manager for our client active in the energy industry. As an IT Program / Transition Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and oversight of complex IT programs and transitions within the critical IT environment. You will ensure that IT infrastructure and application changes are implemented in a structured, safe, and efficient manner without disrupting essential business operations.

Core Responsibilities:

Leading IT Programs and Transitions:
Develop and execute IT transition and implementation plans.
Coordinate multiple project teams, suppliers, and external partners.
Ensure seamless integration of new technologies without compromising business continuity.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
Act as a key point of contact for directors, management, and operational teams.
Establish strong support among internal and external stakeholders.
Provide clear reporting on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Risk and Change Management:
Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks.
Guide change management processes and impact assessments.
Ensure compliance with regulations, including ISO 27001, NIS2, and GDPR.
Quality and Performance Monitoring:
Define and track KPIs, SLAs, and compliance requirements.
Maintain IT governance and documentation standards.
Implement process improvements and best practices.

Requirements

Must-Have: 10+ years as an IT Program/Transition Manager in a critical IT environment.
Experience leading large-scale IT transitions (cloud, data center, cybersecurity).
Strong background in the energy sector.
Knowledge of ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe.
Expertise in IT infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity. Strong risk, change, and incident management skills.
Proven C-level stakeholder management experience.
Preferred: Certifications: PMP, MSP, TOGAF, ITIL 4, CISSP, CISM.
Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR, SOC2.
Experience in supplier management & contract negotiations. Awareness of geopolitical & cybersecurity threats.
