Data Center Technician

What we’re looking for: The Data Center Technician will work with our Infrastructure Operations Team to oversee day-to-day operations as well as larger projects. Work includes installing, troubleshooting, and repairing servers/network equipment. Work involves hardware diagnosis and replacement of failed components. Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision while handling multiple priorities. The successful candidate will be able to:

• Manage work and priorities through a ticketing system, while coordinating with the Data Center Manager
• Perform hardware troubleshooting and component replacement for servers and networking infrastructure
• Replace and maintain cabling and wiring
• Collaborate with outside teams to resolve issues
• **This is a night shift position
• Travel occasionally

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Task prioritization?, * Experience with Linux or similar OS

• Good knowledge of network design and protocols
• Superior understanding of storage devices
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle
• The ability to function under pressure with multiple priorities
• Excellent organization skills

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year. Shift will be midnight-8:00AM or 01:00am-9:00AM Night Shift is the intended target after 6 months day training 6 Months of Day Shift Training = 7:30am - 4:00pm PST **This is not a remote position.
