Job description

  • Manage incoming requests for field support utilizing application knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and controls.
  • Resolve product information inquiries and troubleshoot product issues independently or through an escalation process.
  • Demonstrate expertise in device networking, product setup, application support, debugging, and programming.
  • Accurately document all incoming support requests and feedback within the company’s call tracking system in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining responsiveness and follow-through.
  • Travel as needed, approximately 40-50% of the time to assist with technical presentations or provide onsite support for clients.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Building automation systems?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, Excellent opportunity for a motivated professional seeking to work from the comfort of home while providing remote diagnostics and troubleshooting assistance to field technicians and end-users nationwide. This fully remote position is open to candidates located in states from Colorado west, and TX., * Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, HVAC Technology, Control Systems, or related technical discipline preferred.

  • Proven experience supporting or working with HVAC systems, controls, and building automation technologies.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC controls, digital systems, and networking concepts.
  • Niagara AX/N4 experience or certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience in field application engineering, technical troubleshooting, and customer support is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent follow-through, and a consistently professional and supportive attitude.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: *

  • Design/Development Engineering in HVAC Digital Controls
  • Field Application Engineering and Support of HVAC Controls and Digital Systems

Language and Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents and instructions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with customers and internal staff in one-on-one and small group settings.

  • Must maintain a proactive, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to perform calculations involving whole numbers, fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, percentages, and advanced technical calculations.
